Product Review and Next Steps

Online store · product review

Your products, ready for your review

This is a short, plain guide to the test version of your online shop. It explains what we have built from your product list, what is already working, and the small number of decisions we need from you to finish it.

What you are looking at

We took your product spreadsheet and built every product into this test shop so you can see it the way your customers will. Nothing here is live or public. It is a private copy for you to check.

You look at it exactly as your customers will — through the shop front. Browse the ranges, open any product, and try picking options like size and finish. There is a short “how to look around” guide at the bottom of this page.

To make checking easier we have also put every product into one searchable table, and you can download the full product list as a spreadsheet. Both are linked at the top of this page: browse all products in a table, or download products.csv.

How your products are organised

Most of your products come in choices. A shower door, for example, comes in different sizes and finishes. Rather than make a separate web page for every single combination, we put each product on one page where the customer chooses their options. The price and the picture update as they choose.

For example

Verve Sliding Door is one product page. On it, the customer chooses:

Size: 600mm to 1400mmFinish: Brushed Brass, Matte Black, SilverHanding: Left or Right

When they pick a combination, the page shows that exact product, its price, and its photo.

We grouped and named your products to match how your own website, flairshowers.com, presents the range. So a plain sliding door, a level access sliding door, and a sliding door with side panels are kept as separate products, just as they are on your site.

How the live site will work

Your store works on a request a quote basis, not an online checkout. From your designs, a customer will:

  • Configure the product by choosing the colour and the sizes (for a door with a side panel, that means the door width and the side panel width).
  • See the exact items and product codes they have configured, with a “From” guide price.
  • Request a quote, choosing a nearby retailer, or letting Flair pick the most suitable one.

This test store is the layer underneath that. It holds every product, with the right colours, sizes and codes, so the configure-and-quote screens have correct information to work from. Building those screens is the next stage. What you are checking here is that the products themselves are right.

Wetroom configurations

Your AYO wetrooms work a little differently from the rest, and we have matched how your own website shows them. They are presented as ready-made configurations, where each configuration is a complete layout with a set list of parts.

There is one AYO Wetroom Configurations product, and each of its 27 configurations appears as its own card. Every card lists what that configuration includes (for example three glass panels, two wall profiles, a corner seal and the stabilising bars), shows the colours it comes in, and gives a “From” price.

Please check these

The part lists and the colours for each configuration were taken from your website, because they are not in the spreadsheet. Please look over a few and tell us if any parts or colours are wrong. The prices are a rough total of the parts for now, so they will need your review.

What is already working

95%

of all product combinations can already be selected and bought. The remaining few need a small bit of extra information from you, explained below.

  • Every product from your list is loaded, with no import errors.
  • Sizes, finishes, prices, weights and dimensions are all in place.
  • Customers can pick their options and reach a single, specific product they can request a quote on.
  • Products are grouped and named to match your flairshowers.com range.

What we need from you

A small number of products currently look identical to the website because they share the same size and finish, even though they are really different items. The website needs one extra label to tell them apart. Please tell us how you would like to handle each group below. None of these are problems with your products. They are just choices about how to present them online.

Question 1

Gemstone grills: metal or solid

What we found. Some Gemstone grills come in a metal version and a solid version. They are the same size and finish, so the website cannot currently tell them apart.

What we need. Would you like these shown as one product with a “Style: Metal or Solid” choice, or as two separate products?

Question 2

Sealing strips sold by length

What we found. Your Proseal strips come in different lengths (2m, 2.5m, 3m and so on). Right now there is no “length” choice, so they overlap.

What we need. Shall we make this one product with a “Length” choice (2m, 2.5m, 3m, and the rest)? We think this is the tidiest option, but it is your call.

Question 3

Spare and accessory parts

What we found. Many small parts (stabilising bars, wall profiles, corner seals and T-pieces) are the building blocks of the wetroom configurations above. A few others, such as tray leg kits, sit on their own in the Shower Tray range.

What we need. Do you also sell any of these as individual spare parts online, or are they only ever part of a configuration or kit? If they are trade or fitter only, we can hide them from the shop.

Question 4

Verve bathscreens

What we found. Your Verve bathscreens come in a few styles, for example single sail, two panel, and radius edge. We want to be sure we have kept them as the right separate products.

What we need. Please confirm these are genuinely different products, and that the names we have used read correctly to you.

A small correction for your product list

While building the shop we noticed a couple of things in the source spreadsheet that are best fixed at your end, so they stay correct everywhere in future.

  • Some white products are labelled as black. A number of white items (their codes end in “WC”, for example AYO10MWR45WC) have their colour set to “Matte Black” in the colour column of the spreadsheet. The product name correctly says white. Please check and correct the colour for the white products.
  • A spelling slip in one product name. The product code OROSA2IL120RBC has “rightt hand” (double t) in its name. Worth correcting in your master list.

If it is easier, send us the corrected spreadsheet and we will rebuild from it.

Product photos

To keep this test version quick to load, we have not pulled in the product photos yet. Your images are stored as Dropbox links in the spreadsheet, and there are several hundred of them.

What we need. Would you like us to load the photos into the website? One thing to be aware of: pulling several hundred images straight from Dropbox can be slow and Dropbox sometimes limits it. If that happens, the cleaner route is to give us the images as a folder, or let us copy them onto the website’s own image store. Happy to advise once you confirm you want them in.

Prices and categories

  • Prices. Because your store works on a “request a quote” basis, the prices act as a guide. We show a “From” price on each product, taken from your RRP excluding VAT. Please confirm that is the right figure to show as the starting point.
  • Categories and menus. Each product sits in its range (AYO, ORO, ETO, ILI, Verve, Gemstone, Shower Trays and so on). If you want a fuller menu structure, for example Enclosures, then Sliding Doors, just let us know how you picture it.

What “finished” looks like

Once you have had a look and answered the questions above, we will:

  • Add the small extra labels so every product combination can be selected.
  • Apply any corrections to colours, names and groupings.
  • Load the photos, if you want them.
  • Set up the categories and menus to match how you work.

After that, the product set is complete and ready to go live whenever you are.

How to look around

Browse the shop front

  1. Go to the shop using the link we send you.
  2. Click Shop in the menu to see the products.
  3. Open any product and try the colour swatches and size choices.
  4. This test store uses standard shop buttons so you can see the products. The live site will replace those with the “Configure and request a quote” flow shown in your designs.

Check the full list at a glance

  1. Open Browse all products in a table from the top of this page.
  2. Use the search box and the range filter to find any product, then read its code, colour, size and “From” price in one row.
  3. Or download products.csv to open the same list in Excel.
  4. Everything is checked from the front of the site — there is no separate admin login to sign into.

As you go, jot down anything that looks off, confusing or in the wrong place. There are no silly notes. Every bit of feedback helps us get this right for you.
